Kemi Adetiba

Kemi Adetiba (born 1980) is a Nigerian filmmaker, television director, and music video director. She directed "The Wedding Party" (2016), which became the highest-grossing Nigerian film at the time. Her crime political thriller "King of Boys" (2018) and its sequel series on Netflix received critical acclaim. Adetiba started as a radio presenter and music video director before transitioning to film. Her bold storytelling and cinematic vision have elevated Nollywood's international profile.

Kemi Adetiba evolved from radio host and music video director to one of Nollywood’s most technically accomplished filmmakers. Her early videos for Banky W, Olamide, and Waje introduced cinematic lighting and narrative arcs to Nigerian music television.
