Starting a project is easy. First, create an account on Great Nigeria, then click "Start a Project" and fill out the project form. Include your project description, goals, budget, timeline, and images. Once submitted, our team will review it within 48 hours.
Funds are only released to project organizers when the funding goal is reached. If a project doesn't reach its goal by the deadline, all contributions are returned to supporters. This ensures that projects have adequate funding to succeed.
All projects go through a verification process. We check project details, organizer credentials, and feasibility. We may request additional documentation or clarification. Verified projects are marked with a badge.
Yes! You can support as many projects as you want. Each contribution helps make a difference. You can track all your supported projects in your dashboard.
Great Nigeria charges a 5% platform fee on successful projects to cover operational costs. Payment processing fees (typically 2.9% + ₦50) are also applied. These fees are clearly displayed before you contribute.
Project organizers are required to provide regular updates. You can follow projects you support and receive email notifications about milestones, updates, and completion. All updates are visible on the project page.
We take project accountability seriously. If a project fails to deliver as promised, we investigate and may take action including refunds or project suspension. Report any concerns through our support system.
