Wizkid

Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun (born 1990), known as Wizkid, is one of Africa's biggest music stars. He rose to fame in 2010 with "Holla at Your Boy" and has since released multiple platinum albums. His 2016 collaboration with Drake on "One Dance" topped charts globally. Wizkid's 2020 album "Made in Lagos" featuring the hit "Essence" (with Tems) became the first Nigerian song to chart on Billboard Hot 100. He's won numerous awards including BET, MTV, and Billboard Music Awards. Wizkid has collaborated with Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, and other international artists. He's credited with popularizing Afrobeats worldwide and inspiring a generation of African artists.
