Burna Boy

Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu (born 1991), known as Burna Boy, is Nigeria's most internationally successful contemporary musician. His 2019 album "African Giant" and 2020's "Twice as Tall" (which won a Grammy) established him as a global superstar. Burna Boy's Afrofusion style blends Afrobeats, dancehall, reggae, and hip-hop. He's performed at Coachella, sold out Madison Square Garden, and collaborated with international artists. His music addresses African identity, colonialism, and social issues. Burna Boy received the African Artist of the Year at MTV VMAs multiple times. He's a cultural ambassador showing the world that African music has arrived.
